The Danube Dragon Action Plan

The Danube Dragon Action Plan – Action Plan for the Danube Crested Newt (Triturus dobrogicus) has now been officially published – job done by SEH: Societas Europaea Herpetologica, as collaborative effort with DanubeParks Network. I hosted an in-person meeting  in 2024 October in Tihany, at the HUN-REN Balaton Limnological Research Institute, where the Team progressed a lot with writing the action plan. We also visited one of the T. dobrogicus habitat near Lake Balaton, where – due to the mild autumn – we had the chance to see some specimens. Document can be downloaded at this link.
